Chapter History
Alpha Chi Zeta Chapter embodies the mission of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, serving Beaumont and surrounding areas for over 82 years.
Chartered on April 29, 1942, by Soror Lullelia Harrison, the Southern Regional Director, our chapter held its first organizational meeting at the Frances Morris Branch of the Y.W.C.A. in Beaumont. From our humble beginnings, Alpha Chi Zeta has been steadfast in promoting the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. Our chapter has flourished over the years under the leadership of exceptional women and the unwavering commitment of our members.
We have successfully implemented a range of international initiatives and community-focused projects, emphasizing educational programs, health awareness campaigns, and service projects that benefit the youth, the elderly, and various charitable organizations in the Beaumont area.
